I forgot to mention in my bibblings the other day that when we see the professor at the end of last week's DW she is wearing a Newnham scarf!!!!!!!
I decided that really does not constitute a spoiler. It did make me leap up and gesticulate wildly like a very tragic person. But huzzah for Newnhamites getting quite literally everywhere...
I think the person who invented downloadable TV should be given a knighthood. Possibly a sainthood. Perhaps both... I have just watched Saturday's episode of Dr Who and it was brilliant and wonderful and a thing of splendour. I got back to college at about half six. I collected my post (thank you Ann!) and came to check my email. I then checked to see what time Dr Who was on. Rawrgh. On the plus side, I had only missed about 5 minutes, but I think I startled everyone else in the computer room by grabbing my rucksack and leaping across the room... I then ran down

I spent the day in the Seeley, reading & making notes. Quel surprise.
The evening was much nicer, as I had a very nice tea (sausages and mash and baked beans) and went to watch Dr Who (although see how the BBC were again LYING about their schedule so we had to watch strange orange people cavort in swishy frocks and on rollerskates.
I cannot BELIEVE it. The BBC moved Dr Who. And failed to mention this to us. Or maybe everyone else knew, but noone in College did. I am disgusted. Grr
